Supervisor Safety (CA): Developing Their Role in Your Program (California Specific): The responsibilities of a Supervisor are challenging in the day-to-day operations of the workplace. Supervisors need be able to identify hazards and know how to control those hazards. They must cultivate relationships where employees are comfortable reporting unsafe conditions. Training employees, enforcing safe work practices, correcting unsafe behaviors, investigating workplace accidents, and controlling workers’ compensation costs are all roles of a supervisor that this seminar will help develop. (This course is approved for Core Contractor Continuing Education).
